...and the next day

The day after we’d been at the show, the awards were announced. We’d made our nominations from the tradestands we’d assessed and they were taken to the moderation meeting later where the awards were decided.

Maybe you recognise two of them? One of the very first stands we saw that morning with the great planting, clear labelling and well explained storytelling won best tradestand and the young couple at their first show with his handmade firebowls won the Retail Innovation Award. How lovely to see our two nominations win through!

Not only that, but we had been asked for suggestions from the “lifestyle” area as well and were impressed by the Pearls and Daughters jewellery booth, which also achieved success.

I feel we had a hand in all three awards, then. Terrific.
