Thank you!

I am so thankful for the abundance of birthday fun and good wishes that came my way last week. Not only that, the lovely surprises keep coming as the celebrations continue into a second week too!

This morning’s post brought still more sweet wishes but also a puzzle... I was sure I recognised the handwriting as that of our dear Canadian friend, but with a Spanish stamp?

Turning over the envelope to open it carefully, because Nadine is known for her beautifully decorated post, I noted her usual address, in Montreal Canada.

The answer to the mystery was to be found inside the card.

There’s a postal strike in Canada, so Nadine’s Hero, dear Todd, had taken my birthday card to Barcelona, Spain, where he’s working right now and posted it from there.

How kind was that?

So many treasures, each one of them hugely appreciated.
