Lewis

I first encountered Lewis in December last year , when I strolled around Tetbury on the morning before my WI Christmas lunch. I commented on the young bear in the driving seat, noting how handsome he looked.

So I was amused to find him in that same shop window this year and said as much in my blog here. Little did I realise that my Hero was about to go on a bear hunt as a result.

Do you know how many antique shops there are in Tetbury? (I think he does now!)

Thanks to his excellent, inherited detective work and the bargaining skills acquired from watching too many episodes of Bargain Hunt, look who joined the family yesterday afternoon…

Lewis was born in the 1950s (an excellent vintage, don’t you agree?) and is in fine fettle, including his musical box which is activated by giving him a squeeze! He seems quite at home here and though he’s still looking around for his favourite place to sit, he’s found his way to everyone’s heart already.
