Nipped over the border into France today, for a look around Lille. Look where I spent a happy hour this morning! Best of all, the shop was completely empty - a real bonus, as anyone who has spent an hour or two in the Paris queue will confirm.
I keep my blog as a personal record of what I'm up to, which might be seen as working towards "An elegant sufficiency, content, retirement, rural quiet, friendship, books, ease and alternate labour, useful life". I'm certainly not there yet. There is quite some way to go!
